"School sengoku RPG" arrives this winter with Nendoroid figure
A television commercial for the Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere game for the PSP system began airing in Japan.
Minoru Kawakami, the author of the original Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere light novel series, outlined the "academy sengoku (warring states) RPG's" story and supervised its production. TENKY is developing the game with ASCII Media Works, and Kadokawa Games will publish the title.
The game will ship this winter in a limited first edition for 10,479 yen (about US$132) and in a regular edition for 6,279 yen (about US$79). The limited first edition will include a Nendoroid figure of the character Tomo Asama in her uniform, a special fan book, and an exclusive box decorated by original novel illustrator Satoyasu. People who pre-order the game will also receive a product code for downloading an Opaai Paradise! mini-game.
The second season of the television anime adaptation of Kawakami's novels premiered this weekend. Sentai Filmworks licensed both anime seasons in North America, and Sentai Filmworks and Crunchyroll are planning to offer both seasons digitally.
