Little Busters Anime Key Art, Kud Wafter PSP Port Revealed

The September issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine is revealing the first piece of key visual art and character designs from the anime adaptation of Key's Little Busters! visual novel on Monday. The magazine also revealed that the studio Prototype is porting the spinoff visual novel Kud Wafter to the PSP system under the working title Kud Wafter: Converted Edition. The port will have additional elements such as new original events and visual art. The release date and price have not been revealed.

The magazine also does not list a finalized release date for the television anime, despite voice actress Tomoe Tamiyasu briefly reposting her guest profile from Anime Expo with a Fall date.

The animation studio J.C. Staff is producing the upcoming anime with director Yoshiki Yamakawa (Baby, Please Kill Me!, Hatsukoi Limited), head scriptwriter Michiru Shimada (Jewelpet Twinkle, Shugo Chara!), and character designer Haruko Iizuka (Inu X Boku Secret Service, Ōkami-san & Her Seven Companions).

The 'Hentai' Prince and the Stony Cat Light Novels Get Anime

The official Twitter account for the MF Bunko J imprint's 10th Anniversary Summer School Festival confirmed on Sunday that an anime adaptation of Sou Sagara's The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat (Hentai Ōji to Warawanai Neko) light novel series has been green-lit. The announcement was originally made at the grand finale of the festival on the same day. The story centers around a second-year high school boy named Yōto Yokodera. Yōto is always thinking about his "carnal desires," but no one acknowledges him as a pervert. He learns about a cat statue that supposedly grants wishes. The boy goes to pray that he will be able to express his lustful thoughts whenever and wherever he wants. At the statue, Yōto encounters Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi, a girl from his high school with her own wish — that she would not display her "real intentions" so readily. Sagara launched the...

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Gets 2nd Season

More Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai announced at MF Bunko J imprint's 10th anniversary event The official Twitter account for the Haganai (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai) school comedy anime confirmed on Sunday that production on a second television season has been green-lit. The announcement was originally made during the Haganai stage event at the MF Bunko J imprint's 10th Anniversary Summer School Festival on the same day. Yomi Hirasaka and Buriki's original Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai light novels revolve around Kodaka (Ryohei Kimura) — a half-Japanese/half-British transfer student whose delinquent-like blonde hair and fierce eyes scare people — and a seemingly perpetually sullen girl named Yozora (Marina Inoue). The two decide to form Rinjinbu, a club for misfits with hardly any friends. Funimation and the video-streaming service Niconico announced in October that they would stream Haganai as it aired in Japan. The two companies then began...
